Tanya is the Executive Director & Founder of Leaders Of Kenosha. She is a veteran of the United States Army, and originally from Kenosha. After serving time in the military, she moved back to raise her family and has continued her community engagement for 18 years. Her passion for her community continues to shine through her work and dedication to improving the quality of life for Black people in her hometown.
Erica is the Director of Community Engagement and Operations. Her work focuses on building relationships with community members and partnerships with other organizations and making sure LOK is running smoothly. Erica is from Kenosha and has worked as a community organizer all across Wisconsin. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee where she studied Political Science, International Relations, and Spanish. She loves learning, getting to know people, and dancing Salsa and Bachata.
Olivia is the Director of Communications. She grew up in Kenosha, sharing her love for the community and support for a better life, equal rights, and justice for all, both locally and anywhere. She is passionate about achieving justice for Black and brown individuals. She was a part of Club Carter from 2012-2016. She is our lead photographer for all events and manages LOK’s communications channels.
Ariel is the Director of Social Media and Graphic Design. She creates graphics and social media content for LOK’s online presence. She also manages voter engagement initiatives and ensures all of LOK’s events run smoothly. She is from Kenosha County, but 2020 was the first year as an activist in the City of Kenosha. Her passion for supporting necessary reforms in her community along with informing the community of the importance of voting.
